Agility is great if you are looking for a fun activity to do with your dog. The sport challenges energetic dogs, helps shy dogs build confidence and the teamwork will strengthen the human-canine bond. Some of the obstacles your dog will learn to maneuver are: jumps, tire jumps, tunnel/chutes, A-Frame, dogwalk & pause table.

The Great Glebe Garage Sale is a community event organized by the Glebe Community Association since 1986. Homeowners in the Glebe are the primary vendors working on their front lawns, driveways and porches. The Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind will host “Dollars for Dogs”, their 27th annual fundraising dog walk. This is a 4-km walk for all dog lovers and their canine friends, followed by a BBQ and dog social. Walk with or without a dog. This is the only day of the year that dogs are permitted at Andrew Haydon Park, thanks to a bylaw waiver from the City of Ottawa. Come visit us at our booth for the duration of the event.
