Blue

Blue is a big, handsome boy, weighing approximately 100 pounds. He is neutered and, to the best of our knowledge, is microchipped. His vaccinations are not currently up to date.

Blue has a very gentle and loving temperament. He is:

• Wonderful with adults and children
• Very good with other dogs
• Friendly and welcoming with strangers
• House-trained
• Comfortable staying home alone for approximately 7 hours
• Not an excessive barker—he generally only barks when someone is at the door
• Not destructive and does not chew furniture or household items
• Not a jumper and does not typically jump on people
• Affectionate and loves being around his people

Despite his age, Blue still has plenty of puppy-like energy. He loves to follow you around the house and simply be wherever you are. He is very much a companion dog and enjoys being included in family life.

Blue absolutely loves car rides and especially enjoys putting his head out the window. He also enjoys daily walks and loves having the opportunity to run off-leash at our local dog park.

He does pull on the leash, particularly at the beginning of a walk, but settles down after a while and is manageable to walk. He knows basic commands, including “sit.”

We have not experienced any behavioural issues or known triggers with Blue.

Health

Blue is currently healthy and has no known medical conditions. He has had no known surgeries or significant injuries and is not taking any medications. He has no known allergies.

One thing worth mentioning is that Blue is a heavy breather, which has been typical for him.
