Who We Are and What We Do: Keshet is a boarding facility, as well as a large breed dog rescue just outside of Ottawa, ON. Passionate about dogs from an early age, Debbie Moffat founded Keshet Kennels/Rescue with a vision of it being a place for all things dog. We offer many essential canine services, including: boarding/daycare, facilities rentals, rescue, adoption and much more. Our full-service facility was designed to be a safe haven for dogs to play, train, spend time and interact with others.

We believe that as much as it’s about helping dogs in need, it is also about supporting dog owners. Our passion for helping both dogs and owners has fueled our desire to learn and grow over the past years. By sharing our stories and information with the on-line dog community, we hope to be able to pass along material that is thought provoking, educational and, at times, entertaining.

Our Blog: Our mission is to raise awareness on all things canine through weekly blog articles. We are committed to offer relevant and factual information which will provide our readers with an inside look at our day-to-day lives. Our blog targets dog owners and enthusiasts by offering information that is current and backed by professionals in the industry. With not only the number of dogs, but the various breeds and personalities, there’s always something going on at Keshet.

We wish to inspire our readers to share information and ideas by participating in discussions. Your feedback is appreciated and we encourage our readers to get involved by leaving comments and following us on other social media sites. We look forward to sharing our experiences and invite everyone to subscribe to our weekly blog.

Good evening, I am very happy to have found your site. Rescues (with facilities) are so rare. I presently do volunteer work at a rescue, and would really appreciate visiting your facility.

I have a great interest in saving animals, I presently study in Animal Science to be ready when I retire in 5 years.

    Hope to meet you soon

    Helene
